The US Embassy in India on Thursday asked visa applicants to list all social media handles of every platform they have used in last 5 years for background verification. "Omitting social media information could lead to visa denial and ineligibility for future visas," the Embassy said. This comes days after US asked applicants to make their social media accounts public.
