A woman named Vidya from Mantaraghatta village, Davanagere, was attacked by her husband Vijay during a fight over a loan. The couple had been under stress as lenders harassed them over missed repayments. In a shocking act, Vijay bit off the tip of Vidya’s nose. She was taken to a hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition.
