London's underground rail network almost shut down completely on Monday as the staff began week of strikes over pay and working conditions. Commuters switched to buses and e-bikes as almost no underground trains are expected to run until Thursday. The RMT trade union says the dispute is centred on pay, fatigue management, shift patterns and a reduction in hours.
