Former India cricketer Murali Kartik said it looked like three people were captaining India at once during the first Test against England in Leeds. "There were moments when Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul were setting the field while Shubman Gill was right there," he explained. Kartik stated that Shubman didn't do proactive captaincy, adding, "He was chasing the ball."
