Indian military chief General Anil Chauhan, while talking about recent India-Pakistan conflict, said, "There's a lot of space before nuclear threshold is crossed." He added, "[There's] a lot of signalling before that (nuclear conflict)...Nothing like that happened (in recent conflict)." External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar earlier said India, Pakistan were "very, very far away" from nuclear war.
