The Lok Sabha extended the deadline for the Joint Parliamentary Committee's report on 'One Nation, One Election' to the first day of the last week of the 2025 Winter Session. The committee will explore the feasibility of the Constitution (129th Amendment) Bill and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill, which aim for simultaneous elections for Lok Sabha, states, and union territories.
