Lieutenant Parul Dhadwal has created history by becoming the first woman officer in a five-generation military family. She secured the top position in the Order of Merit of her course. The Indian Army said, "Lt Parul Dhadwal is a saga of a family dedicated to service to Motherland." Her family's legacy of military service dates back to 1896.
