The Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway (NE-6) is almost ready, with only minor finishing work remaining. According to NHAI officials, completion is expected by early December 2025, followed by inauguration soon after. The 63-km, six-lane expressway will reduce travel time between Lucknow and Kanpur from up to three hours to just 35-40 minutes, transforming regional connectivity across Uttar Pradesh.
