The 3-year-old child who was raped was initially taken to Lokbandhu Hospital where she received emergency care. Dr. Rajiv Dixit said she was in pain and was moved to the ICU. After initial evaluation by a medical team, including a gynaecologist and paediatrician, she was referred to King George’s Medical University (KGMU) for further treatment.
