Ludhiana is facing a serious infrastructure deficit, its Civil Hospital has no permanent forensic expert to handle post-mortem examinations and medico-legal cases. Despite receiving 30 to 40 medico legal cases daily and conducting 7-10 autopsies on an average, the hospital has been operating without a dedicated expert for nearly a year.
