A big headload fell from one of the passengers and triggered stampede at New Delhi Railway Station that killed 18 people, informed Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to Parliament. Subsequently, passengers tripped on the stairs. The incident occurred on February 15, amid Maha Kumbh in UP. A high-level committee found that there were sufficient crowd management protocols in the station.
