The Indian government is fully funding states to vaccinate cattle against major diseases like Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD), Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), and Brucellosis. Over 125 crore vaccinations have been done since 2020. LSD has now spread to 10 states, prompting urgent vaccination efforts and ₹196.61 crore in support from Centre this year.
