Russia said French President Emmanuel Macron had spoken in a manner unworthy of a head of state when he called Russian President Vladimir Putin "an ogre at our gates". A Russian Foreign Ministry official accused Macron of making strange statements that crossed line of decency and turned into "low-grade insults". Macron had made the comment in an interview last week.
