Actor Madhuri Dixit distanced herself from Sanjay Dutt and avoided being photographed with him after he was arrested in 1993, journalist and writer Hanif Zaveri said. He stated that a party was organised when Sanjay got bail and Madhuri was also invited to the party. Zaveri added that she came and left the party without even going near to Sanjay.
