Madhya Pradesh High Court commuted death penalty of a 20-year-old man convicted of raping a 4-year-old girl and disposing of her body in deserted place. It noted the barbaric nature of act but found that it didn't rise to level of brutality necessary to warrant capital punishment. It also acknowledged the man is uneducated and lacked care while growing up.
