Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, during a press conference, showed a mobile phone, gifted to him by Chinese President Xi Jinping. "The best phone in the world...And it cannot be tapped, not even by the gringos (Americans), nor by spy planes or satellites," he added. This is being seen as Venezuela's attempt to publicise ties with China amid tensions with US.
