A 50-year-old farmer from Khatav, Satara, was hospitalised after a mutton bone got stuck in his food pipe. Startled by a cat pawing at his plate, he swallowed meat with a hidden bone, causing chest pain and swallowing difficulty. After home remedies failed, doctors at Meenakshi Hospital successfully removed the bone through endoscopy.
