Maharashtra government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to identify Bangladeshi infiltrators in the state. The SIT has been formed based on BJP leader Kirit Somaiya's complaint. This comes amidst reports that actor Saif Ali Khan's attacker "illegally" came from Bangladesh. He had changed his name to Vijay Das and was living in Mumbai for months, police said.
