The Maharashtra government has cleared South Asia's fastest Ro-Ro ferry service, connecting Mumbai to Konkan via Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg from September 1, 2025. The M2M Princess can carry vehicles and passengers, cutting travel time to 3-6 hours. With fares starting at ₹2,500, the service aims to reduce congestion on the Mumbai-Goa highway and ease festive-season travel.
