To reduce crowding in Mumbai's local trains, the Maharashtra government has decided to allow its staff to start work 30-minutes later. Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik said the move aims to ease peak-hour rush and provide relief to thousands of daily commuters battling jam-packed coaches. He added that the state is also exploring water transport to offer additional travel options.
