Maharashtra Government's Language Advisory Committee passed a resolution on Friday demanding, no third language, including Hindi should be taught in schools in state before Class 5. "We're not against Hindi....but imposing it...is neither educationally sound nor culturally appropriate," committee's chairman said. Earlier, state government had issued an order to include Hindi as third language.
