Speaking about violence amid language row in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi said MNS hasn't "precipitated this crisis". She stated the state government's order making Hindi mandatory third language in Classes 1-5 in Marathi and English medium schools is the reason behind the crisis. The government later made Hindi an optional language after backlash.
