Radhikaraje Gaekwad, the Maharani of the princely state of Baroda walked a ramp wearing a 100-year-old antique Paithani saree from her family's collection. Once showcased at the 1985 Met Gala's "Royal India" exhibition, the heirloom piece travelled from rural Maharashtra to a New York museum and now to a Delhi runway- symbolising heritage, artistry, and timeless tradition.
