Maharashtra government has approved a ₹1,339 crore relief package for farmers whose crops were damaged due to heavy rains between June 2025 to August 2025. The funds will be distributed to farmers directly to their bank accounts. Maharashtra received heavy to very heavy rainfall over Konkan and adjoining ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra between August 18 to August 21.
