The development plan for the 2027 Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela has officially been approved by the Maharashtra government. It has a record budget of ₹25,055 crore, which is meant to completely change Nashik and the surrounding area. The federal and state governments worked together to develop the plan, which focuses on improving modern infrastructure, and pilgrimage facilities.
