After a newborn was thrown from a moving bus in Parbhani, Maharashtra, police booked the couple under Sections 94(3) and 94(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for secretly disposing of a dead body. The duo, who claimed to be married but had no documents, admitted they dumped the baby due to financial hardship.
