The Maharashtra government has approved the manufacture of grain-based Maharashtra Made Liquor (MML) to boost revenue and revive closed potable liquor licensee units. Expected to generate ₹3,000 crore, MML will be priced at ₹148 for 180 ml with 42.8% alcohol. Produced only in Maharashtra, it aims to bridge the price gap between Indian Made Liquor and Indian Made Foreign Liquor.
