Maharashtra has signed an MoU with Abu Dhabi Ports Group, along with Investment Resource & Presidential Office of Abu Dhabi, for international cooperation in maritime sector. This MoU envisions investments of $2 billion across diversified sectors. These include shipbuilding, ship-breaking, water transport, port infrastructure, etc., to strengthen Maharashtra's position as a leading maritime hub.
