Maharashtra will soon enforce a 'No PUC, No Fuel' policy, preventing vehicles without valid Pollution Under Control certificates from refuelling. Petrol pumps will use CCTV verification and issue instant PUCs with Unique IDs to curb fake certificates. The move, ahead of winter smog season, aims to cut vehicular pollution while supporting the state's long-term push toward electric vehicles.
