Maharashtra local body polls in 246 municipal councils and 42 nagar panchayats will be held on December 2, while the results will be declared on December 3, State Election Commissioner announced on Tuesday. November 17 is the last day to file nominations, while November 21 is the deadline to withdraw nominations. There are 1.7 crore eligible voters for these elections.
