Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the state aims to become a maritime hub and key driver of India's global economic rise. He said the state is boosting its port capacity and multimodal infrastructure, linking ports to rail and road. The government is also planning to develop its first offshore airport at Vadhvan to further improve connectivity and cargo movement.
