Ahead of Independence Day, Koyna Dam in Maharashtra's Satara has been illuminated in saffron, white and green lights, creating a stunning tricolour display. Videos and photos show the dam glowing in Tiranga hues, along with images of historic forts associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The dam, a key water source for western Maharashtra, has joined the nationwide celebrations.
