The Maharashtra government will provide 800 to 1,000 new buses daily to schools and colleges, offering them a 50% discount on the total fare for school and college trips, Maharashtra Minister Pratap Sarnaik announced. He stated that Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (MSRTC) will provide the buses and principals will be encouraged to plan trips to major historical destinations.
