Maharashtra has emerged as India's wealth hub with 1,78,600 millionaire households, a 194% rise since 2021, as per the Mercedes-Benz Hurun India Wealth Report 2025. Mumbai alone accounts for 1,42,000 households, earning it the tag of "Millionaire Capital." Nationwide, India now has 8,71,700 millionaire households, with Delhi and Tamil Nadu following Maharashtra in wealth creation.
