Multiple social media users in parts of Gurugram flagged that their house helps, including maids, cooks and sanitation workers, suddenly stopped coming to work and "vanished". According to multiple reports, this was a result of the government's recent crackdown on illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya immigrants. The crackdown led to 250 people being rounded up, 10 of whom will be deported.
