Salim Sheikh, the main accused in Chandan Gupta's murder during the Tiranga Yatra in the Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh, died on Wednesday during treatment at a Lucknow hospital. Salim, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the case, had been admitted to the hospital for about two months. Four other accused in the case are currently out on bail.
