Odisha's India Meteorological Department (IMD) in-charge Manorama Mohanty said monsoon has reached parts of South Odisha from Bhawanipatna to Puri. "Further progress is not likely over...next five to seven days," she added. While Odisha may see "light to moderate rainfall with mild thunderstorm activity in one or two places," she noted that "major rainfall is not likely to happen anywhere".
