Malaysia has no plans to revive its annual F1 race due to high sponsorship costs and a packed racing calendar, Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh said. The country hosted a leg of the F1 World Championship from 1999 to 2017. Yeoh added that the event would cost about $71 million annually, more than twice the budget for 20 national sports programmes.
