Danish Malewar scored a maiden first-class double century in the Duleep Trophy before retiring out, joining an exclusive six-member club. The last batter to retire out after crossing 200 was Craig Spearman (216) for Gloucestershire against Oxford University Centre of Cricketing Excellence, in 2005. Malewar is the first Indian in 81 years to do this, after Vijay Merchant.
