West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made a big announcement on Monday about residents of the state working in other Indian states as migrant labourers. The CM announced state government will provide ₹5,000 per month to workers' families until they find work for a year. Chief Minister announced the launch of 'Shramshree' scheme aimed at benefitting migrant workers.
