BJP’s Amit Malviya accused West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee of “lying” about the Durgapur gangrape victim being out of her college at 12:30 am. Malviya said the girl went out at 8 pm, and the complaint filed by the victim's father also mentioned that the assault occurred around 8 pm. Mamata had questioned why the student was outside at 12:30am.
