BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul criticised West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, alleging that she trivialised rape by comparing it to fever. Paul also reacted to crime scene recreation done on law college campus today over the gang-rape incident and said these are all just eyewash. She said, "We have seen a long history of women being harassed, assaulted and silenced."
