A 55-year-old man, known to the victim as ‘daadu,’ has been charged under POCSO for allegedly assaulting, raping, and poisoning a 15-year-old girl in West Tripura. The survivour is stable and receiving treatment in Agartala. Police revealed that the accused was familiar to the girl and lived nearby.
