A man posing as a naval officer fled with a rifle and ammunition after asking a sailor in Mumbai to hand over weapons and assume charge, police said. The incident took place on Saturday night, following which the Indian Navy and Mumbai Police have launched an extensive search operation to trace the missing rifle and apprehend the man.
