A man from Bihar's Gaya district, who earns ₹10,000/month as a labourer, received an income tax (IT) notice of ₹2 crore. The man has been asked to pay ₹67 lakh within two days as penalty. He said, "I don't even know what income tax is." He added that the Income Tax Department has asked him to file an appeal.
