A gunman opened fire inside a Midtown Manhattan skyscraper that houses offices of several financial firms, including Blackstone, and the NFL headquarters. At least four people, including an off-duty New York City police officer, were killed in the firing. The gunman, who was identified as Shane Tamura, has been neutralised with reports claiming that he shot himself.
