Vivek Rajesh Maurya from Maharashtra's Thane has been arrested for allegedly being part of ₹47.32 crore GST (Goods and Services Tax) credit fraud. An official statement read, "The case was detected using internally developed intelligence and advanced data analysis tools." It further said Maurya "fraudulently claimed and passed on ITC (Input Tax Credit) without any supply of goods or services."
