A Pune court sentenced a man to two months in jail for possessing a hand grenade in a 2015 case. The accused, Vicky Sawant, was arrested with a live grenade wrapped in a handkerchief. The court found him guilty under the Explosives Act, 1884. However, since Sawant had already spent two months in judicial custody, he was set free.
