Rajasthan's Akhilesh Maheshwari quit his corporate job to fight for boys trapped in trafficking and bonded labour. He once saw 26 boys working in a small room for 17-18 hours, and in 2009, launched Naya Sawera. He has since rescued over 1,000 boys from exploitation. One boy he rescued had been raped thrice and burnt with cigarettes.
