A local court on Friday sentenced a 50-year-old man to death for the murder of six people in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam district on April 15, 2021. The convict, Battina Appalaraju, entered the house of Bommidi Ramana and killed six members of the latter's family over a longstanding land dispute. The victims included a six-month-old infant and a two-year-old child.
